Really nice, clean RV park. They want pictures of your drivers licenses, RV rig, RV and car licenses, and they run background checks on potential customers. Gives you a warm feeling that you're reasonably safe staying there. HIGHLY recommend.
Happy camping,
Pool was needing repair and the men's toilets felt old and wanting.
I spent 7.5 months here. The roads in the park are in bad shape, pot holes everywhere. They have no cable, a small outdoor pool for summer use only, a very small play area for kids, the "office" "laundry" common area, is full of postings about keep your kids in check, don't do this, don't do that (you get the picture). 2 out of 3 of their staff were very nice, 1 is a very rude and hate filled person. The park lot rent is charged at the same rate the very nice luxury parks, but this is low budget. The owner has zero incentive to upgrade the park because there is zero competition in the area, so if you need to stay in this area, your just stuck and he knows it, so you get the big finger if you speak up and say anything, because everyone stops here, because its the only game in town. When I left, I simply asked if I had a deposit to get back and inquired about the rest of my electric, the 1 employee who happens to be the one that is not nice, was at the desk and didn't want to do anything, I then reminded him, they could not book that spot out until the end of the month, because, I paid for the entire month, and just because I physically had to leave, did not mean that they could double book the lot, he was unhappy, but decided that they would use the rent left on the lot for any electric bill, which I agreed to. Then I tried to come back this fall, because work moves me from Texas, to Alaska every year, and knowing they are the only place in town, I called to get back in there, the owner/manager called and informed me, he didn't need people like me. Me, who is single, with a 40' rig and a 2016 F-450, who makes over 100k/yr and only comes home from work and goes to bed, gets up before the sun is up to go back to work, day in and day out. 1 time and only 1 time, I had my kid down for the weekend, he parked next door in a open lot for the night, with many open spots, when we got up, he had been stickered for not parking in my spot, never mind after he moved it was 3 more days before they put anyone in that spot. The attitude of its my way or the highway is only good until people find out you are like that as a business person. It's a shame, that there is not several other RV parks in the Melissa & McKinney area, he would discover that his business tactics would not go over so well. I am sure if you are there for 1-5 days you may have a decent experience but for long term, the price is way to much for the amenities. I could go on for an hour, but, you get the picture by now.
Awesome RV sites. Owners are very friendly & professional. If you need something just ask. If they don't have it they'll find it for you.

Enjoyed staying there for the last two years. Laundry room is well maintained and a nice feature of the park
Decent place priced a bit high compared to other similar paces we have stayed at.
Still the surrounding corn fields were fun to see and we had a good night...
